Heat maps are very popular in the current global health climate, but here’s something different.
Covid-19 will go away, it will leave its emotional scars for years to come, but it will go away. Flood risk will not go away, although media attention has quickly moved on from the wettest February on record.
So here’s a heat map to keep flood risk at the front of your mind. There are approximately 55,000 properties built since 2010 (Eng & Wal), that are located in Flood Zone 2*, that are not befitting from ANY formal defences.
